释尊初转法轮时,先说远离欲乐、远离苦行──二边的中道;中道就是正道,正道以正见(慧)为先导,如实知见四谛。为什么众生生而又死,死而又生,无可奈何的生死不已──苦?苦的主要原因(集)是“我”:在认知上,是我见(我所见);在染着上,是我爱(我所爱)。佛证知“我”是虚妄错乱而可以勘破的,所以说一切法从因缘生:因缘生所以是无常的,无常故苦,苦故无我无我所,突破了生死大苦的症结,才能趣向涅槃解脱──灭。佛说见道(见四谛)得初果的,得“法眼净”,也说“三结断”。三结是萨迦耶见(有身见即我见)、疑、戒禁取。三结烦恼断与得无漏智,如光明现而黑暗消失一样。如不(永)断见惑(主要即三结),那里有“净法眼”可得!经论中立三解脱门,无常苦故无愿解脱,无我故空解脱,涅槃故无相解脱。其实,三解脱门同缘一实,所以被称为“无二解脱之门”。一般泛说八万法门,那只是初方便接引,如进入修证,那只有这不二解脱门。也就因此,说“诸行无常”,“诸法无我”,“涅槃寂静”为三法印,以印定佛法的如实性。
