I've gotten a lot out of Meido Roshi's offerings, and am just impressed with him generally on many levels. He teaches a very complete path. As for "clear about the view" in the AtR sense, the various deepening of awakening seems to be dealt with in the context of koan training, which is not talked about openly. In particular, I've never seen him express a substantialist understanding of nonduality or a nonsubstantialist understanding, because espousing a precise philosophical view is just not how his lineages goes about things.
