This blog is about spiritual awakening, maps and stages, the blinding effects of our strong momentum/conditioning (karmic propensities), view, realization, experience, etc. If you're new here, I recommend going through the 'Must Reads' articles (see sidebar). For discussions you are welcome to join the Awakening to Reality Facebook group

Someone posted something related to politics here. A member reported it. It seems to be removed before I deleted it.
Let it be clear here: no political discussion is allowed in AtR. Thanks. Let’s keep things focused here and not venture into a million and one other possible topics.
Anyway
before the owner of the thread deleted it by himself and left this
group, he posted something about bhagavad gita, about waging righteous
war as part of dharma.
I told him holy wars are taught in many religions, but rejected by Buddha. Buddha would not support this.
Coincidentally
Kyle Dixon wrote in reddit today: "Apparently even as a civilian if you
take sides on a war and delight in the eradication of an enemy army and
so on, this also has karmic implications."
p.s. Would like to take this opportunity to mention that the AtR blog has this popup saying "no war" with the Ukrainian flag.
That is not by me. Either the blog is hacked or one of the plugins has been changed to show it. I'm lazy to find out how to turn it off.
Yes, I support peace and no war. I also don't take sides or wish for the elimination of 'enemies' regardless of what sides. I pray for peaceful resolution and an end to violence.
